We support our community
BAULNE is dedicated to important social causes
BAULNE is a local, independent business that is well-rooted in its community. We believe that social responsibility is an essential value. This is why BAULNE is involved in many causes and provides support to the community in many ways.
To help increase the chances of success for youth in our community by supporting targeted activities for their development.
YUNiK’s founding principles are based on the idea that commitment, sharing and collective action combine to increase the chances of success for youth in our community. YUNiK wants to help by financing concrete one-off projects with organizations selected by the founding members. We believe that our innovative foundation model is a channel of redistribution and development for our society; it is based on the fundamental belief that together it is possible to make a difference.
Marc André Baulne
Co-Founder of the YUNiK Foundation
It was in 2008 when Marc André and a group of 17 other people from the business world decided to pool, on an annual basis and in their personal names, funds within a foundation they’ve called YUNiK, whose objective is to make a difference for local youth by financing targeted local activities for their development.
Every year, YUNiK members organize a rallying event that enables them to reveal the project financed for the coming year as well as to raise additional funds to increase the Foundation’s redistribution potential.

The JDRF’s research aims to improve the lives of all people with T1D and to cure this disease. The JDRF’s research objectives are achieved through projects divided into three basic areas: healing, treatment and prevention.

To provide the best chance of recovery to all children with by financing research and supporting the development of projects dedicated to paediatric oncology.
The Foundation is proud to be present within the four university hospitals treating paediatric oncology patients in Québec: the Charles-Bruneau Cancer Centre at CHU Sainte-Justine, the CHU de Québec, the CHUS in Sherbrooke and the Montréal Children’s Hospital.
This means that all children with cancer in Québec are treated in a Charles-Bruneau unit. Ninety percent (90%) of the Foundation’s revenues come from its fundraising activities.
The entire amount of money collected during the Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau goes to support the Foundation’s different programs and projects.
For a second year, BAULNE participated in the Circuit Bleu Charles-Bruneau to raise money to fund paediatric oncology research.
