WHAT IS A ROOFTOP UNIT?

A rooftop unit, as its name indicates, is a piece of equipment installed on a building’s roof which is used to ventilate, heat and/or cool commercial or industrial spaces in order to maintain optimal comfort. The main advantage of a rooftop unit is that it provides a decentralized design, which means that it is not necessary to completely shutdown the system to change the filters, for example.

Check the motor and fan pulley alignment
Perform a leak detection test on the refrigeration circuit (required by law)

Compressors:

Check the operating temperatures and pressures
